Caring for Your KARU Woollens
Made by makers. Made to last.
A good wool sweater is something to treasure. With just a little love and care, your KARU woollens can keep you cozy for years to come.
Wash with care
Hand wash gently in cold water using a mild wool detergent. Avoid rubbing, twisting, or wringing, as this can cause wool to felt or lose its shape.
A little care, included.
Every sweater comes with a complimentary pouch of Eucalan wool wash to help you care for it from the start.
Lay flat to dry
Gently press out excess water in a clean towel. Reshape your sweater and lay it flat to dry naturally. Never tumble dry.
Less washing, more wearing
One of wool's wonderful qualities is its natural resistance to odours. Often, all your sweater needs is a little fresh air between wears.
Store it lovingly
Fold your sweater rather than hanging it to prevent stretching. When storing for longer periods, make sure it's clean and completely dry.
A little pilling is natural
Pilling happens with wear and friction. Gently remove any little wool balls with a sweater comb to keep your knitwear looking its best.
Good things are worth looking after.
